Intentional walking

Am I missing something, or is there no "intentional walk" pitching option available? I know you can "pitch around" a batter, but if there's no option to give someone a free pass, there really, really needs to be.

I'm sorry if someone has already mentioned this.

I have to disagree. It's not the pitcher who decides whether to walk a batter; it's the manager.

If that's true, then an intentional walk will never occur while your character is on the mound and you're controlling him, because the AI apparently isn't programmed to have the "manager" give you the order to give someone a free pass. Either way, it would probably be a little more realistic if something were done to deal with this.

It's true the AI doesn't issue many intentional passes, but it has indeed done it while I'm pitching. It has a bad habit of having me walk a batter just before it pulls me from the game! grrr....

Actually, I am not complaining because it was realistic each time it chose to give a free pass.
