Hitting Streaks
Its happened to me a few times that I'm in the middle of a moderate length hitting streak (say 10 games or so) and am given a day off by my manager, only to have him use me as a pinch hitter late in the game so I get 1 PA in the game, which has like a 55% chance of being an out (I have a very high OBP in this particular game). Anyway, perhaps in a later version the game could have managers shy away from pinch hitting guys in hitting streaks of some length, if they're being given a routine day off.

Yah i like this thought, i had a 40 game hit streak broken because of that. By the way whats the record again???

And had it not been for one game against Cleveland, and had it not been for Pesky 3B Kenny Keltner.... it would have been a 72 gamer.
