My wish list.

1. Agents.

The better the agent you have, the better the contracts you get.

2. Property.

Buy new houses ... a superstar player, still living in the same house as a minor-leaguer ... that's absurd.
Check out the total club manager 2004 private area - learn something.

3. Family/relationships.
And all that comes with that - late nights, early fights, etc, etc.

4. Why can't you bunt on 2 strikes ? Or suicide squeeze with the bases loaded ?

5. change of landscape from minor league to majors, and from town to town - NY cityscape, to the Bay in san fran.

Agents would be cool. You could pay big $$ to hire a Scotty Boras type to go for a big contract, or minimal money for a scrub just out of law school.

I would like to see "random events" (like Chance cards in Monopoly, or the game Life) that affect things like finances and playing time pop up from time-to-time. For instance, you would get messages like:

"The guy you beat up in the bar last night was the owner's nephew...you're going to ride the pine for a while."

"Your investment in XYZ Corp was a disaster...you just lost $50,000."

"Your bat was stolen from the clubhouse...you need to go buy a new one"

"You just got an endorsement with ABC Co that paid you $75,000."

That type of stuff, both positive and negative ones, to keep things interesting and add more role-playing depth.

maybe a newspaper type feature.

It's a pain to go to the web-site, to ee the news, and stuff, so maybe at the end of the week, there can be an option to see a newspaper, with the big performances, and achievments of the week.

The ability to take over any player mid-career is something that would boost my interest in this game. I don't much enjoy working my way through the minors. I'd love to be able to take over a big prospect from my OOTP leagues and go from there, though.

Also, I think it would be interesting if you could approach the game as an agent and maybe have multiple players for whom you are responsible. You have to make sure they have good workout routines, same as how things are now. It would certainly give someone playing the game more to do if we could control multiple players in a league, anyway.
