First of all, I'd like to say that I'm having a blast with this game. I've been waiting for a long time for something like this to become available.

Now, with that said, I was playing as a Left Fielder and chose to become a free agent at the end of my contract. I signed with a team that had Vladamir Guerrero, Carlos Beltran, and another really good OF (though I cant remember right now). Needless to say I got zero playing time before being sent down to AAA 3 weeks into the season. Shortly after I was released. Once I was released I couldn't figure out how to sign with another team.

Do I just wait for a team to contact me?? Anyway, the point of all this is, I'd like to be able to access more information about other teams. When I was a free agent, I couldnt see the other teams record, their depth charts, or anything. If I knew who was on that team, I certainly wouldn't have signed with them.

Also, I think that when you buy a book it should increase your rating the way it does right now. But, once you've reached the maximum rating, it should raise the max. For example, if my stuff rating is 70 and my max is also 70, the book should raise my max to 72. Kind of like the cliche'... teaching an old dog, new tricks.

Anyway, just a few ideas. Take them or leave them.

oh yea, another thing. I think there should be a minor league all-star game and a minor league playoff system. Also, you should be able to play that the all-star games like you would any other game of the year.

i remembered more... Rain outs??? double headers???

i'd also like a calendar so i can see when upcoming days off are. if i want to go out and get plastered after a game, i'd like to know if there is one tomorrow.

I agree about the schedule/calendar view, but rainouts and double-headers (while a part of real baseball) would make the scheduling more complicated than it really needs to be for OOTP or ITP.

i agree with this, easier access to more information about your ballclub, other ball clubs, something that makes the world comes alive. Maybe a newspaper or something with major transactions. notices when your teammates have been traded away or something, when a major player gets traded or signs FA. we want to know about it.
