Progressive cost in talent points?
I think when we allocate talent points, the cost should raise progressively.
For example, the stuff in pitchers could only cost 1 pt for the 1st level, but 2 for 2nd, ... and 10 for the 10th level. The same/similar structure applies to other categories as well. The reason behind this is that it really shouldn't be too hard for someone increase the max speed from 100 to 110 kph, but it will be much harder for 150 to 160. For the same reason, throwing balls 'forward' instead of 'backward' is easy, but to be able to pinpoint the destination is almost impossible. How does everybody feel about this? |

Bloody brilliant. Great idea.
Also would like to see some modification done to allow Ps to be better hitters without costing defense or other categories. It's almost impossible to develop hitting skill for pitchers. Maybe instead of 1 pt - one tick of skill, make 1 pt = 2 or 3 levels??? Thoughts? |

excellent suggestion, would make it harder to produce a stud, but much easier to produce an all-around player. Could allow for this option on points to be turned on and off, depending what the person prefers (if you wanted it easy, just keeping it like it is now, allows you to be a HoF easily) while if you turned on a progressive talent, would make it much harder.
