SHould I buy ITP?

I would like to play this game, but if it is a dead franchise, I don't know if I want to put out the money on a game that is not going anywhere.

any thoughts or inside info?

If I had to make a recommendation, I would say no, don't put your money on it. Not because it's a dead franchise (though I don't know whether it is or not), but because it's generally not worth it. The gameplay is simplistic and quickly grows tiresome. If it were me, I'd plop the money down on something else.

I think most people agree there's a huge amount of potential in the game, but given the fact that Markus is just one man, and he's got plenty on his plate for OOTP 2007 and beyond, it may be a while before we see any sort of progress on ITP.

Play the demo they have. I really enjoyed it and can be an amazing game.

I played through long enough to sign my first free agent contract and after that there was no more reason to play. Just sim and drink, sim and drink, Not worth 20 bucks. Instead, buy MLB06 the Show if you have a PSP or PS2 and play the career mode. Its much more fun.
