grrr

I created a great pitcher. He pitched nearly 300 innings at a 1.96 ERA in 2016, and got injured on 9/24. He was on the DL as his team went on to win the World Series.

Did he get a ring? No.
Did he get a mention in his player card about the title? No.

Guess we'll have to repeat.

2017 he goes 312 innings at 2.08, wins the Outstanding Pitcher, and guides Texas to their first division title in 10 seasons.

Out in the first round.

For the record, his Luck is at 0.

He is now the all-time shutouts leader with 49, has a career ERA of 2.64, 6 20-win seasons, and is a 3000 K member. All at 32 years old.

Wow, nice pitcher. Every time I get a decent pitcher my computer overheats or something and I lose half a season of stats or something. I had a knuckball throwing MR that after a few years in the pen got tabbed to be a starter and won the Cy Young Award his first year as a starter. Then had a crash and nothing past July was saved for personal stats, but all team records were saved. GRRRRR.

That happened to me on my last PC. Nerve-grating, to say the least!

what type of workout do you have setup for your pitcher? I have yet to create a successful workout for pitchers.

The key to working out pitchers is the same as hitters. Just make sure you have exactly one resistance training from each of the 4 groups, and exactly one flexibility training for each. I usually set up my resistance/flexibility trainings on tuesday/thursday, then fill MWF with pitching sessions/extra running/long toss. I always make sure I don't drop my energy below 50 and that I'm within .03 of the ratio recommended.

This league is the most fun I've had playing ITP. I'm on my 4th career in it now (just about wrapped up), and every one of them is a HOF career.

Well, I thought Jeff Gibson IV was about to retire, but the last-place Orioles who traded for him 4 years ago figured that a pitcher with 100 stuff, 39 control, 10 velocity, and 80 poise was worth $1M for his 43, 44, and 45 year old seasons.

The closer career didn't pan out as planned. He was converted to a SP by Minnesota.
