Interested in purchasing, but i have questions...
I like a lot the idea behind this game. I always wanted to make an alter ego in a sport sim and see what could happen.
I'd like to know if it's possible to use real player rosters (with Lahman DB) and immerse myself in a sort of historical replay. Moreover, i see this game is a few years old...is there a discount coming in the near future?? I'd hate to buy a game now and see that, after a few days, the price is lower.... And, last but not least, is this game difficult?? I mean, if you play on the highest settings, do you always make a superstar player??? Thanks a lot for the help

I forget how much it is, 20 bux? It is worth it. I don't think it has changed in years, so I don't think it'll change after you pick it up.
Is it hard? It can be. I never played on the highest level so I cannot comment on it. For other levels, once you know the game, know the workouts, what skills and attributes are more important, how you buy gear, etc... you can be successful. One flaw with the game is that once you know how to set up a a player, you can do it every time. But from my understanding the hardest difficulty is still not a lock everytime for a superstar. Know up front you cannot initially make a closer. You'll have to make a pitcher with low end so they will not be a starter. But it is possible to become one And if you do buy it, don't forget the patches. Else you'll retire automatically when you are in your prime in your mid to mid-late 30s..

Pretty sure you can update the rosters and all that. I never got into that. Search the mods section for that stuff and I am sure you'll find your info.
