Bunting Bug

If there is no men on, if I wanted to, I would never get out.

If you choose to Bunt, if you do not get a Bunt single, it will tell you you that "You could not put the ball in play!" As there are now 2 strikes. Well, if I click on hit, leaving Bunt as still the main preference, I should have a great chance of again not putting it in play and striking out. Instead, it just tells me the same thing, that i could not put the ball in play. Keep clicking, and eventually you will get a base hit.

Also, I have never put a bunt in play and gotten out. Seems if I don't foul off the bunt it is an auto-basehit, but that may be due to my Henderson-esque speed.

But anyways, bunting should make me strikeout if I risk on 2 strikes, not tell me I couldn't get it in play.

I just tried what you're talking about and 3 out of my first four bunt attempts with no runners on base, resulted in the old "two strikes on the batter", to be followed by a strikeout.

So, I'm not getting the same result.

Same here. I can bunt forever until I put the ball in play.

AnotherAlias - I've never struck out bunting!? How are you doing it?

I sometimes would strike out bunting. Click Bunt the first time and if you get "two strikes" as the result, click Bunt a 2nd time. Sometimes it goes in play, sometimes it results in a K.

Thought this was fixed in 1.02. Is it still happening with 1.02 version?
