Question Deleting log files ?

Can we safely delete the log files in the League_News_Box folder ?

Actually, if we delete the box and log files, then make a backup copy of the league folder, then for whatever reason revert back to the backup copy (without the box and log files), will this have any bad effects on the league ?

It's like saying when you try to extrapolate the end of the universe, you say, if the universe is indeed infinite, then how - what does that mean? How far is all the way, and then if it stops, what's stopping it, and what's behind what's stopping it? So, what's the end, you know, is my question to you.

I'm sure there are people who can be more informative on this than I can, but it *should* be OK. I recently copied an OOTP league of mine from one computer to another, and forgot some of the log files, and the league seems to load fine. Haven't tried playing it yet, but since it loads up without incident I would think you should be fine as long as you don't try to open game logs for 4 year old games...

I have been cutting out all boxes and logs as well as trans and inj files since I'm actually running a game with a friend of mine in it. I only have 10MB of space, so I need to prune my League_news_box folder a bit to get it to fit. As for whether this is safe, it seems fine. I'm not having any problems. I think it generates the league in the same way ootp (4, at least) generated its league.

If it's all output only, then it's safe to chop it up.
