Developing a Pitcher

I have just started the development of a pitcher. In doing so does the player require the same inventory as an every day player - bat, batting glove, glove, shoes, etc.?

Thanks

Well, if you mean, can your pitcher use those, then the answer is: Yes. If you mean, will your pitcher require them to be effective? The answer is probably not, since the bats and batting gloves are hitter-centric and even NL pitchers aren't expected to be Ted Williams. You may get some sort of fielding benefit from the Infield Glove and even the shoes, but it's unlikely that your pitcher will be needing that much speed. For the most part, a pitcher will probably focus on the Books, for they're fairly expensive for a new character, and most the in-game items aren't really geared towards the pitcher anyway.
