Pitch Gaff

I have (had) a fireballer that was racking up some nice numbers, when I went and started using my money on the only thing I could use it on for a pitcher, books to learn new pitches.

I added all the pitches, with the last one being the knuckleball. I was hoping that it meant my guy would be smart enough to use the best pitch for the best situation.

But no, now my guy throws about 80% knuckeballs, which makes no sense when I have a velocity of 90!

Does anyone know how to "unlearn" a pitch?

Thanks.

Oops. Looks like you've stumbled upon one of the legacy things from the OOTP5 engine; in previous games of OOTP5, I've added a knuckleball to a "normal" pitcher just to see what happens, and for some reason, this becomes his dominant pitch. I don't know if you can "unlearn" a pitch in ITP however; I suspect you can't.

Well, there just aren't many people who know the knuckler that don't use it aruond 50% of the time. Guys like Wakefield or Sparks use it about 80%, a guy like Bouton used it a good bit of the time... I guess it's logical to expect if you learn the Knuckler to feature it.
