Phone calls interupting simulations

Is there a way to stop those annoying phone calls from interupting simulations? Sometimes I'd hit the simulate a year button and go on other tasks for quite some time. It's annoying to find out the sim has been stopped by a silly "player of the week" phone call just one week in.

Frankly, I think that the player of the week award for the very first week has given you a big head.

But I do agree, perhaps we could toggle the types of messages we receive. Such as only those involving transactions or something.

I would take the phone of the hook, or like most people, I use the modem (call waiting disabled) to tie up the phone line.

i never got a phone call telling me im the player of the week...you should be happy about that phone call.

I dont think there is a way turn that option off actually
