The Dodgers Screwed Me!

I'm a catcher, and my free agent year, I left my former team and signed a 12 million dollar deal will Brooklyn (I started it in 1939). I actually took less to go to the Dodgers because they had a kick butt team and I thought I would start, but I spent most the year as a backup. Anyone else have the same problem, and is it going to be fixed? I was a lot better than the platoon Brooklyn was using as a starter too.

Well one the flip side of the coin, my player came up to Toronto in 2004 and put Carlos Delgado on the bench.... now how often will that happen?...my player won the Rookie of the Year award so it wasn't a bad move...don't think Carlos was too happy about it though..........

12 mil in 1939? maybe ITP should have an option to set the average salary???? i believe in 1939 your average salary would have been a few thousand dollars

This is a much-lamented problem with OOTP. Thus far, all salaries are set to 'modern' levels. Of course, so are team incomes and other expenses, so it's consistent. Possibly OOTP6 will have some kind of era setting for ca$h; if so, I'd guess ITP2 will as well.

Until then, just imagine you're making a lot less money, is all I can say.

Maybe its because my charisma's at zero, and for that reason I can't convince the manager to start me? Could be, but oddly enough, I either pinch hit or come in as a defensive replacement in almost every game relatively early (7th inning or so). Maybe its like how it was with John Mabry with Oakland in 2002, the front office doesn't want me in the lineup? Its sorta odd, especially since I made the All-star team that year (yes, off the bench).
