I'm pretty sure this huge update is coming soon. I've already heard the news as well as some others on the beta team, so it's only a matter of time.

It has officially been well over four years since this thread began. Honestly, I am very surprised that is hasn't been closed.

I guess it is probably pointless, but I just figured since I've got nothing else to do right now that I'd go ahead and ask if Markus (or anyone) knows the status of ITP.

Oh well, I guess life goes on.

Can't wait for OOTP 9 to come out. Did I mention that we've now seen four (or is it five) versions of OOTP since ITP was released? I remember reading in a few posts that something was supposed to happen after OOTP 6 was released.

I know, I know. I really should stop with the sarcasm. My wife tells me that all the time. In the end, I just don't know what else to do. I have a great life: happy at home, happy at work (mostly), overall life is pretty great. Not that having ITP would put me into the next category up, but I guess I might never know.

Anyhow, I'll finish this up. I truly am looking forward to OOTP 9. I've already paid for my copy as I have since the first one came out.

Mods don't really come down here that often. plus it's a pretty slow moving thread so there is no real reason to stop the fun

Now that Markus is back on his own, I could see him getting interested in this again, if the new version goes the way 5 did, and he has more free time on his hands. With the complete re-write after 6, and the final patch of 2007/8 not even comming out untill december, I just don't see him having a lot of time for this project. If OOTP gets to a state where the patching is done by say September or so, then maybe.

is it abandonware? cant imagine people still paying 20bucks for this if it isnt supported. maybe throw in a free copy if you buy another OOTP game.

I don't know if I'd call it abandonware as more of a side project that life got in the way with. Markus has hinted that he would like to revisit this but as of late just hasn't had time.
