How did your pitcher get so good? tell me what workout you did please! Everytime I make a pitcher, he has a great game, and then he's a closer and then sent down. But when he has a real crapy game, he's promoted.

I gave him high INT, decent con (to avoid injuries), and decent or good strength. I remember that I gave him a lot of points into endurance because I know that the more innings he pitches per game, the more likely he is to get a decision, and the more likely he is to get a win. I don't remember a lot of how I had the workout setup, other than it was pretty darned full. I think the energy level of the workout was sub-50 for most of his career. I know I had good bits of long toss mixed in with an otherwise balanced workout. Oh, I had a good amount of lower body strength stuff mixed in. I don't think you can neglect that area for a pitcher. And as always, a good bit of stretching. I'm sure others could give you better advice seeing as I barely remember anything...but I tried. |

Anyways, it's been a long time since I played it, but I think it was somewhere around $2300 or so. |
