Your a starter, Your a starter, Your a starter

I just concluded a career as a hitter and, in general, was happy with the game.

So i decided to start a new career as a SP. So im a SP and i get to AAA and they put me in the bullpen. This is when the fun starts... A few weeks go by and they decide to start me at AAA. From there on, EVERYDAY the team needed to tell me that "it had news" the the team will now use me in the starting rotation. EVERY DAY and it causes the game to hang and slow it down a TON. So much that i decided to bag the career and start again.

So I create a 4.5 star MR/CL. I get drafted and right off the bat my team decides to tell me "we have decided to use you are our closer" OVER AND OVER AND OVER again, day after day.

Any ideas for a fix?

I have the same starter problem as well... it's quite annoying.

Alternatively, I have the message says I'm a starter today, closer tomorrow, then starter again the day after, ... and so on...

I got an idea, if we can have "disable phone calls" as an option in game settings, we can avoid this problem and also able to simulate the entire season without interruption. :-)

I believe that anytime the cpu adjusts the rosters, whether you yourself move or not, it triggers the phonecall.

i dont buy a game to be shipped from ILB to AAA everyday over and over again

FIX IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its a great game but you shouldnt release a game if you cant make it properly

It's really just a minor bug though. It is annoying, but for me, it only happens when I was a fresh man and my skill isn't quite enought to make a solid starting position. So, most of the time, this doesn't happen, and this is probably why the bug remains (because it's hard to detect).

More than minor. For me it was bouncing between AAA and AA rapidly, with the "starter" phone call everytime. Eventually, around late April, I had to kill the game from Task Manager, because it hung in a constant loop of phone calls in the same day.

Oh man, you are new here lol. This game will NEVER be patched.... Just search back over the last years posts.

That sounds more serious... For me, it's usually about 3 phone calls per day (occasionally more), but the annoying part is that it happens every day.

About the hung thing, I do notice that after each phone call, the screen go darker until it's totally black with the small phone window in the middle. It again usually take about 10 seconds to come back to simulation, but I do not need to use the task manager to kill the program (yet!).

I love the game but those phones call everyday AFTER the MINOR SEASON is OVER. I continue to get messages stating that I got promoted and sent down all at the same TIME. Is there a patch to fix this? This is the 2nd time I create this character and came across the same problem. Now I know how Henry Cotto feels getting promoted to the Yankees and get sent down to Columbus the next day all throughout the summer!!! Please HELP!
