upgrading ratings?

I am currently in a career as a starting pitcher on easy mode. When I started, I made my abilites as 8 in stuff, 5 in velocity, and 8 in control. When I started my career, it said my max in stuff and control would be 80 and my max in velocity would be 50. I have reached the max on all those. My question is, is there a way that I can get stuff and control to 100, or am I stuck at 80?

your pretty much stuck with the 80. once that number is set at the create a player page, thats it, its as high as you can go now.

I don't usually play as a pitcher, but I know that as a hitter the potential ratings can raise with time. (For instance, if you have an 80 Gap potential and reach that, there's a chance that it will raise to 90 depending on your workout and other factors.) I believe that I have also received bumps as a pitcher, although they do seem to be more rare. (Though it could just seem that way to me since I don't play as one as often.)
