I was gonna...

I downloaded the demo for ITP after the game being mentioned on the BBM forums of which I am a rather active member. I enjoyed my first season of play (although it took me all fricken night) and was seriously considering buying it. Then, as I try to advance to the next year I am prompted that the demo version is not only active for a limited time (14 days) but also limited to one season of play. I feel as if I am barely on the fringes of player development and have been shot down, especially after being promised 14 days. You definately lost my money and my vote on this one guys.

P.S. I know it says the 1 season thing on this site but it isn't mentioned on Download.com or at startup.

I wouldn't chuck it all! If you liked the game, don't be too surprised it only runs for a season. You DO get to see how it goes...you can even make the BIGS in that first year (superstar!)...and they protect themselves, too. [Else, what's stopping you from playing the DEMO for 14-days... & when you feel like playing again (2 or 3 careers in a fortnight) download the DEMO again! Effectively never needing to buy the game! That can't be good for business.]
If you liked the first year,.... wait till you see your retirement!

If you have played one season you have played them all.

If you liked the demo and don't mind the game being somewhat limited you will enjoy the full version.

I just couldn't be convinced by one season, especially a minor league season. I also never really had much playing time my first year as a pitcher because I kept going between AA and AAA.

I just want to see the game develop more that just one season. I don't know how acurate it is or how fun it will be if I can't play more that one stinking season. The game itself doesn't offer enough depth in one season to really get the feel of how the game is going to work out.

If you want to see how the game develop more than one season, feel free to read my thread "Horror League" under the "ITP Dynasty Report" board. Hopefully, you will get the feeling how a career will look like.

Well I just got another job so I'm doing 12-14 hour days now for the next month so maybe after that I'll be able to just buy it. I'll check out the thread and maybe I'll let that convince me to get it when I have the time and money.
