You dont need OOPT5 for historical imports. You just need to download the Lahman database (or a variation of it), unzip that into a folder, and use that.
Heres the catch though....By not using OOTP5 to start the historical league, the first year of your ITP league will be filled with fictional players, with real rookies coming in during the first ammy draft....Thats a bummer. I guess it would be cool if a few site offered a place to store ready to go historical seasons for the OOTP5 challenged. Even better would be to just breakdown and spend the $20 to buy OOTP5. Probably one of the best $30 (original cost I think) I have ever spent, especially for the amount of time I spend with the game. If you are a baseball fan and enjoy stats, stats, and more stats, I wouldnt even be surprised to see you like OOTP5 more than ITP.

Well, I don't really think that the end can be assessed as of itself as being the end because what does the end feel like? It's like saying when you try to extrapolate the end of the universe, you say, if the universe is indeed infinite, then how - what does that mean? How far is all the way, and then if it stops, what's stopping it, and what's behind what's stopping it? So, what's the end, you know, is my question to you. |

The only problem is the ITP still isn't.
