Owner does NOT approve this deal without Owner Budget Control

In my league www.mblsim.com, we have league members attempting to offer free agent contracts with plenty of money left to spend; however, the game is saying the owner does not approve the deal. Nonetheless, owner control is not enabled; instead, we have entire revenue available. What could be the problem?

The problem is that there is an issue leading to what you see, already logged as BZ 265. I think that the problem revolves around arbitration estimates for the next year being factored into what you can spend. More detail here:

I still say the finances are buggy

I don't think you are correct. I turned owner budget control off and not only do I get emails about the owner setting my budget, but the game won't let my owners do extensions, even when I calculate that there will be plenty of money available.

The problem is that the game doesn't adjust the budget. So if you've brought in 20M more in attendance revenue by winning, it won't adjust the budget until the following season. You are locked in for an entire season based on what you did last season. Very silly.

Also, the game does not factor in cash during the offseason (I have seen this, as have many others). I've had to add cash figures to the budget numbers so my owners can bid during the offseason. It correctly states how much you have, but then won't let you spend that. I've posted on this before, I'm just too lazy to find it.

Really, as a consumer, these issues have me severely pissed. The game clearly does not function properly in some critical aspects and I'm going to be forced to shell out $35.99 for a new version if I want the game to work properly.
