Game crashing to desktop.

I am playing a historical league. I play out every game. What I noticed, since the 2008 upgrade I believe, is a high percentage of game crashes immediately following an injury. It may only involve injuries to pitchers. The last two times a crash occurred, my pitcher had just been injured while making the final putout of an inning. The substitution screen popped up indicating that I needed to install a new pitcher. As soon as I clicked the new pitcher into the lineup, and before exiting the substitution screen, the windows crash message popped up and OOTP closed. I'm running a dell, p4 3.4gh, 2gb ram, windows xp home.

Sorry to hear that you're having trouble with this one, markmcghee. Unfortunately, this is one of those nagging issues that has plagued the game for some time now. It's not only you, and I believe that it is only limited to pitchers. This is currently logged as BZ #272 in our bug logging system and will hopefully be addressed for the next version of the game.
