hey, I'm pretty much a noob but I'dlike to use the set. how do I get them in the game. i started an NCAA league using the 6 major conferences and i started adding the jerseys by hand on each team but was curious if there was an easier way to do it.

Riaf, if you keep harrassing me, I'm going to decide to NOT work on the extra uniforms. :P Don't worry, I won't forget about them.
I had to move on short notice last week, and this week is finals for school. As such, I won't be getting much time to play with OOTP, but once that's done I don't have much to do and will be getting more unis ready to go. Just be patient. ![]() As an aside, the existing unis can go up on PadresFan's site, if he wants to grab 'em, else I'll have to upload them later today I guess. |

Okay, in celebration of the upcoming OOTP 9 (as well as my needing to do something for a week while waiting for summer classes to start), I'm going to begin work on a second batch of NCAA jersey and hat logos for the game. This next batch will fill in several of the lesser-known or "second tier" conferences, as well as some of the bigger ones that didn't make the cut in my initial league.
The conferences/teams chosen here are simply the conferences that I picked to make up the feeders for my second US major league (the original teams above were for the first). Because many of these schools are very low-budget, it may be difficult to find accurate reference material. As such, I won't be getting particularly stringent about being accurate with the jerseys; the goal is more to just get some uniforms for these schools into the game. I'll also use this opportunity to clean up some stuff with the first batch of jersey logos, including filenames that were missing underscore marks, and possibly adding a third number code to the jersey logos (when I made them, I didn't know you could include a 3rd code). Also, the conference assignments may not be totally accurate: in cases where there are odd numbers of teams I either created a fictional school or imported a team from another conference I wasn't planning to use. Also, keep in mind that many schools play baseball in conferences different from their football or basketball teams. All conference assignments were taken from NCAA-Baseball.com, Your College Baseball Headquarters. The conferences and schools that will be included in this batch are: Atlantic 10: Dayton, Duquesne, Fordham, George Washington, UMass, Rhode Island, Richmond, St. Bonaventure, St. Josephs, St. Louis, Temple, UNCC, Xavier. Colonial Conference: Atlantic Coast (fictional filler), Delaware, George Mason, Georgia State, Hofstra, James Madison, Northeastern, Old Dominion, Towson, UNCW, Virginia Commonwealth, William and Mary Conference USA: Alabama-Birmingham, Central Florida, Eastern Carolina, Houston, Marshall, Memphis, Rice, Southern Miss, Tulane, UTEP Horizon: Butler, UI-Chicago, Valparaiso, Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Wright State, Youngstown State, Cleveland State, UW-Green Bay Ivy League: Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Harvard, Penn, Princeton, Yale Ohio Valley: Austin Peay, E. Illinois, E. Kentucky, Jacksonville State, Morehead State, Murray State, Samford, SE Missouri, Tenn Tech, UT-Martin Patriot League: Army, Bucknell, Holy Cross, Lafayette, Lehigh, Navy Sun Belt: Arkansas-Little Rock, Arkansas State, Florida Atlantic, Florida International, Louisiana-Monroe, Louisiana-Lafayette, Middle Tenn, New Orleans, North Texas, S. Alabama, Troy, W. Kentucky I'm going to spend the next day or so looking around for good reference material, and should be able to get the first update going in a day or two. ![]() Last edited by Magc8Ball : 06-21-2008 at 08:03 PM. |

Really enjoy your work. I see that one of your planned updates includes the Horizon conference. Unfortunately, I don't see Cleveland St.(Horizon conf) listed and was wondering if you could squeeze my school in. Thanks

Yeah, I'll double check my school list do make sure I've got it all in there. I'm only up through the B's on the second batch of logos; since the game came out I've been spending more time getting my collection of logos into the proper format to finally let me only have to set them all up once. On the bright side, the original batch of NCAA logos now all have a full set of color codes, as well as the expected jerseys_logo_ and caps_logo_ prefixes, as well as non-abbreviated names (okla_st is now oklahoma_state for instance). I'll be uploading those in a couple days once I've got my solo leagues set up, and then I'll be making a run at working on the secondary set again. |

OK, I looked at the listings for the conference, and what happened is that the Horizon Conference is a 7-team conference. When I did the original iteration, I just dropped a random team (which ended up being Cleveland). This time I'll pick some random school that's otherwise not in and add it to the Horizon league (or make up a fictional school).
Suggestions welcome. ![]() EDIT: I looked this up, and the Horizon League is only a 7-team league in baseball; it has a full 10 teams in basketball. So, I just took one of the teams (UW Green Bay) and made it a baseball school. Last edited by Magc8Ball : 06-21-2008 at 08:03 PM. |

Please let me know if you have completed adding the color codes for logos and unis as well- as that will make things a heck of a lot easier than editing these teams manually!!! Thanks for all your great work!!!!- Really adds to the immersion factor of the game... |

This was the final top 25 according to Baseball America.
BaseballAmerica.com: College: Top 25 Rankings: College Top 25: June 30 One I did notice was Coastal Carolina not being in your set. I haven't checked the rest but I def. think these top 25 should be there. Great work t BTW.
