Facegen backgrounds?

I was wondering if anyone has made any. I tried to make some but the ones i make ruin the pics by making them all grainy and weird looking. I might be doing something wrong so if anyone has made any could you let me know how to do it? thanks

Well I have made a few from some of the ballpark images from Padresfan's web site. My method has been just to use the selection tool to grab a rectangular section of the large image and then paste it onto a new 90X135 image and then maybe scale the pasted image layer a little bit to improve the composition some.

If the images you are making are coming out grainy, my first though might be the image you are trying to use may be too big and it is getting scaled down somewhere and coming out badly. Another issue may be that I think I remember a post here from a few weeks back where someone said that they used .jpgs for their facegen backgrounds because .pngs were coming out badly on their computer. I haven't had that problem, but it maybe something to try if you continue to have problems.

I found the older thread I mentioned(Backgrounds), there Doorgunner suggested using jpegs for resized images. In that thread he also posted some historical type backgrounds.
