*de-lurks*

Brantford representiiiiiiiin' *tries to make cool hand signals that are probably wrong*

Regarding the Canadian flag:
The current Canadian flag was adopted in 1965. Before that, the Canadian Red Ensign was used even though it was never official. The maple leaf was already a common Canadian symbol long before the '50s time frame being discussed - The Toronto Maple Leafs were the name of a baseball team well before the hockey team took the name in 1927, and here is a picture of Olympian Percy Williams from, I presume, 1928.

So you can still use a maple leaf even in a pre-1965 logo, but to make it suitably "retro" looking you have to make the edges more curvy and organic-looking, as in the examples seen above, as well as this logo the Maple Leafs of the NHL used from 1939-'67.

Wow, not bad. I'm not a fan of the font and color of the "P" (in between Oshawa and Pickering), but aside from that those jerseys all look amazing and fit the time period. Nice.

Agreed. I'll tone it down to make it look more natural and less radioactive. Thanks for the comments guys, any changes, let me know.

One tip, from a guy who lives in the Golden Horseshoe: I've never heard St. Catharines referred to as St. Cats. It is, however, sometimes referred to as St. Kitts, but never in anything official.

Great job on the unis!

No Pepper, I just found out that the city of Mississauga was incorporated in the 1970's from many small towns.

I think I'll change the name to Port Credit.

Can you change the uniform?

No Pepper, thanks a lot for that change.

Maybe you can see your work today.

I'll see what I can do about that.
