Challenging Logo Request
My new team in an MP league - the Long Island Accents - needs a logo, and I'd appreciate it if someone could design one for me. Maybe an outline of LI with an accent over it? Thanks in advance!

Here's one idea for your consideration. The image of Long Island is situated over the team nickname in such a way as to generate an 'accent' mark.

Here's a 2nd variation on the above.

English_Ray, thanks for the kind words ... as I like to say, it's a labour, err, hobby of love ... creating logos is like playing baseball, it's just a whole lot of fun!

I changed up the second version a little ... thought the outer red outline didn't contrast well with the blue and black 'Accents', so I switched up with white and added another set out outlines (see below).

If you're not in a hurry, I'd be glad to give it a go, but it might not be until mid-July with other projects currently on the go. Let me know. And no problem if you need it sooner and someone else can help you ... plenty of great guys in this community with lots of graphic/artistic talent.

You guys are something else. I used to reskin railroad engines when I was hooked on MS Train Sim a few years back. I think I enjoyed doing that more than I did playing the sim.
I just don't have Paint Shop Pro anymore, which is the graphics program I used back then. I can't afford it anymore and somehow lost the old one I had. I do have Photoshop, the newest one CS3 I think it is but I just can't figure out how to use it like I could with PSP. I have problems figuring out how to do layers and masks in Photoshop because it is so much different than PSP. Anyway, there are enough people with talent here that I don't need to do that with OOTP. As I keep saying, there are some very very talented people here on this forum who really create outstanding logos and uniforms...I can't say it enough. You guys really make the sim so much more enjoyable for me and I think everyone else. Keep it up and thanks! ![]()
