New FaceGen Backgrounds

Getting tired of OOTP's standard Facegen backgrounds? I've created a new file containing nearly 200 new backgrounds sized appropriately. There are a number of older, black and white images that work well in sepia and B&W facegen mode for older leagues. There are also over 120 images from major league ballparks past and present, as well as a handful of "modern art" ones that I created myself. My personal favorites are some of the ballpark images I lifted from stadium artwork.

You'll probably want to experiment a bit with the ones you like and stick to just a handful, so unzip these into a folder on your PC and then put the ones you want in the Facegen/Backgrounds folder.

This will be a definite download. It's great to see all the influx of mods with the release of OOTP9. Everyone that has contributed something is great for doing so!

They don't unless you have an older one with the same name. However, I frequently put additional copies of the ones I like best and append a "-a" or "-b," etc. That way my favorites come up more often.

Important Note: After you add these to your background folder, you need to reboot your computer for the new backgrounds to be available to the game.

is there a way to assign certain backgrounds to certain teams - example - only have GABP background for Reds pics and so on??

No, although I think that's a great suggestion. It'd be cool to do team themed backgrounds.

Glad you guys are liking these. One of my goals when starting this was to provide some that would work well in older leagues.

I've found that I didn't have to restart my computer, just restart the game. You can name the backgrounds whatever you want, as long as it's unique to the backgrounds folder.

The second mod I've added to my new solo league, like I'll ever have time to play it!

(First was some of the great fictional logos from silvam, cephasjames, and truthserum!)
