Looking for some old time cap and uniform logos

I'd really appreciate it if any of you logo wizards out there have time to help me with logos for the 10 teams in my turn of the century baseball league.

I don't typically start leagues in the 1800s but wanted to do something new (to me). As a result, I don't really have any logos prepared.

I am looking for clean, classic designs that would not look out of place in the 1800's

I'm open to any color combinations but I'd like to avoid repeating the same colors too often. Still, I won't be picky!

Here's a list of the 10 teams:

Bridgeport Gray Stockings
Cambridge Terriers
Charleston Renegades
Concord Heralds
Memphis Deacons
Newark Goliaths
Providence Wonders
Reading Rails
Rochester Orators
Wheeling Mustangs

Thank you very much in advance!

Edit: most don't actually need a mascot on the logo (some are kind of vague as it is) but old time script is cool.

I'm not sure if this will work or not. I think the letter logos work better for the 19th century, but I don't want them all to be the same either.

A choice between two simple, iconic symbols, one to represent South Carolina and the other a Pirate theme.

Hey thanks a ton knuckler! I appreciate the help.

The Concords logo is perfect. It seems to fit the era and is simple and clean!

The Renegades originally refered to Native American Indians. Being late 1800s we aren't exactly PC yet. My first attempt was a tomahawk style logo.I had this on the front of the jersey. I've not been able to do good caps and jerseys which led me here! still, the skull and crossbones is cool too!

It's not strictly a "cap logo" or "jersey logo", but how about this for the Terriers, Gray Stockings, Heralds?

Wow, those are very, very cool! Thanks again, NP.
I am blown away.

If I could butcher a quote from an old classic, Kentucky Fried Movie:

You have created uniforms and caps of extraordinary magnitude. You have my gratitude.
