Removing facegen backgrounds, can it be done?

Just wondering if it is possible to remove all but one of the backgrounds from the facegen background folder?

if so does anything need to be altered to stop any problem surfacing?

The reason I ask is i'm looking to use the plain background as I dont like the look of the baseball fields.

And if it is possible, can it be done with a game that has already been started?

Thanks in advance.

Yes you can. Go in to the Facegen/Background folder and create a new folder called something like "Not Used" and move the backgrounds that you don't want into this folder. They will no longer be used.

Then you can do either of two things to take out the backgrounds that are already in place. With only the 1 background that you want remaining...
1. For each team, go into the team's uniform mgmt section and click on "Update This Team's Member Pictures."
2. In Game Setup/Player & Picture Options/Force Update Player Pictures click to update all of your players at once.

Good Luck.

You can remove backgrounds from the folder as you wish. Personally, I rename the file extension .jpg to .bak so I don't lose the original in case I should ever want to use them again. Doing so inactivates the file and the game will only use .jpg files in the folder, no matter what the filename is. You can do this in a game that is already started, though I think you may need to close down OOTP and load the game again for the changes to take effect.

*EDIT* Argh, ya beat me to it!
