Great American Ballpark backgrounds

I was waiting on a sim to run, and I downloaded paint.net to play with while the sim was chugging along. I tinkered with it for awhile, then made some backgrounds based on a Google image search for Great American Ballpark (sue me, I am biased!).

Here are some of the results...

I'll have some background samples up in a second, and I can zip all of the backgrounds so that someone can host them.

I can see that having team-specific backgrounds would be a cool feature for Andreas to whip up for the future.

Some of these I like, especially the ones with grass in the background.

Here's a sample of the set. There are 74 of them, and the file is 1.9 mb.

The concept of team-specific backgrounds would be scary cool if it got into the hands of someone talented, unlike me.

I like the idea of having 5-10 backgrounds for each team.

While I am fairly pleased with the backgrounds that I currently have, I note 2 things...

1. No matter how many good ones I have, I always want more.

2, I wish that there was a depository somewhere for all the backgrounds. They are small, don't take up much room, and there is currently no single location where they can all be found. That's a dirty, rotten, shame.

If you're looking for some Camden Yards backgrounds, I have about 18-19 in this download:

Files.SimCentral.NET - Out of the Park > Out of the Park 9 > OOTP Camden Yards Backgrounds

If anyone has any advice on what angles they like to see, I can do more of them. I tried to stay with a look of being on the field as opposed to up above.

A sampling of them:

I liked #s 12 & 18 best (and have added them to my collection). My greatest preference is to show grass on most of the bottom half of the background. That way you can see the grass behind the player - otherwise, they might as well be standing on a street corner in the middle of the city. Thanks for the post (and keep 'em coming!)
