Caps & Jersey Question

I am using the updated MLB quickstart and I have a question on getting the caps and jerseys to display properly for players that don't have pictures, such as those in AA.

This is what I've done:
1. Create a new MLB 2008 league
2. Go in as commissioner
3. Go to the Yankees, or any team
4. Move a player with no picture from AA to the major league roster
5. He has a generic white jersey and a generic white cap with the team logo for the cap

If I go to options and ballpark and then edit team colors, etc. The cap will now appear correctly but it seems to have no default jersey selected. Is this a problem with the MLB quickstart? or do I need to do something to have all the caps and jerseys reset?

I'm going to move this thread (temporarily at least) to the Uniforms Mod forum where you should get a quicker answer to how to solve this issue. If you don't get a satisfactory answer in there, we'll bring it back to Technical Support and try and work out what is going on.

Do you have all the Facegen files for the teams installed?

That is the cap and jersey logos for all the teams in the "ballcaps" and "jerseys" folders?

Yes, everything is in there. The problem I have is the game doesn't recognize the caps and jerseys on it's own.

I will have generic caps and jerseys, but if I go to edit colors and jerseys, then it will fix the cap. However, it does not correct the jersey. I have to select the default jersey type.

Two more questions then:

1. Did you start the league before or after installing all the facegen files?

2. Do you have the custom jersey templates for each team installed in the "Jerseys" folder.

It seems like what you are describing is because the templates are not present.

I have created the leagues after installing the 2008 all-in-one mod. Everything is loaded in Jerseys, caps, etc.

Well, since the new patch is out and many changes have been made to the MLB rosters, I suggest restarting your league after patching and see if this persists.

Otherwise, I am unsure!

Try deleting the default jersey and renaming the jersey you want exactly the way the default jersey was named.
