LogoBucket: Simple Cap-Style Logos
EDIT: New thread here → CW's Circular Cap-Style Logos
I haven't made logos for the community since OOTP2006 came out, and it looks like there's not a whole lot of need for another new set. However, I'm pretty picky with logos. I want them to look good full size, as well as the various smaller sizes used in the game. I also like the cap logos way more than the team logos (I.E. for the Dodgers, I want the interlocking L and A as opposed to the cursive "Dodgers" with a baseball flying upwards). So here's another set! I'm particularly proud of the Japan set, since I had to make about half of the logos from scratch. MLB Primary Set ![]() Full set MLB Alternate Set ![]() Full set MLB Script Set ![]() Full set Nippon Professional Baseball Set ![]() Full set Korean Baseball Organization Set ![]() Full set Cuban National Series Set Full set 2006 World Baseball Classic Set ![]() Full set NL Historical Set (Includes historical Brewers logos, even though it was historically an AL team) ![]() Full set AL Historical Set ![]() Full set Negro League Set ![]() Full set (Incomplete) Federal League Set ![]() Full set National Association Set ![]() Full set (Incomplete) Triple-A Set ![]() Full set Double-A Set ![]() Full set Class A Advanced Set ![]() Full set Class A Set ![]() Full set Short Season A Set ![]() Full set Rookie Leagues Set ![]() Full set Arizona Fall League Set ![]() Full set College Set ![]() Full set (Incomplete) And maybe more if I don't get tired of doing 'em.

Cool! Keep working! Waiting for more of your great logos!
By the way, they really have good effects in the game! <img src="http://www.fileden.com/files/2006/12/23/545360/logo%20show.jpg"> Last edited by linih; 08-17-2008 at 06:55 AM. |

Thanks!
I tried to design them to look good in-game. My previous circular set looked good outside the game, but in-game, the circle outline was pixelated and the bevel effect I had put on the logos didn't always look good when scaled down for the smaller logos the game uses.

Totally agree. That is just some great work there. Would be nice if they were in zip format, but then I'm just pushing an inch a mile, I guess.
They look great. Very crisp! The Braves look odd, but I also don't know how you could get around it any other way and it still not look odd. Good work! |

I like these, very simple and tidy looking - only grumble is that they're cap logos, but I can overlook that. I might stop making the ones I was doing and use these for my game instead.

Hey, Razorblade. Don't feel depressed about your logos. I also like your logo making and use some of them in my Japanese baseball league. Besides, I notice you made some good skins before. They are great work. I just wondering if you have any plan to make new skins in the future.

Oh no don't get me wrong, the more choice the better for the greater community. It's just I really like Walrus' logos and from a purely selfish point of view I'd rather replace the logos in my game with these than spend time making logos I'm not gonna use.
Well, I'm half way through the minor leagues so I'll finish the rest of them. It'll take a while longer that's all.

I can wait. I prefer yours, actually, although his are very nice and I might use them in some other leagues. Anyway, thanks for continuing your work. I know I appreciate it very much.

I really want the set to be as complete as possible, so as long as I can find logos, I'll make a set. Quote:
Which Braves one? The current logo, or one of the historical ones?
