How to edit the nations.txt file?
I want names in my 1940's MLB league (based in the USA) to be american, canadian, african, with some hispanic and no asian. How would I be able to do this? Thanks.
Here is what the nations.txt file looks like for the United States (OOTPBB 2007 version); ID,Country Long,Country Short,Abbr,Nationality,Region,Baseball Level,Ethnicity1,%,Ethnicity2,%,Ethnicity3,%, Ethnicity4,%,african,asian,caucasian,east_indian, hispanic 206,The United States,U.S.A.,USA,American,4,5,0,73,1,27,0,0,0,0,1 23,30,716,6,125 Last edited by Kyros : 03-28-2007 at 10:11 PM. |

try this:
ID,Country Long,Country Short,Abbr,Nationality,Region,Baseball Level,Ethnicity1,%,Ethnicity2,%,Ethnicity3,%, Ethnicity4,%,african,asian,caucasian,east_indian, hispanic 206,The United States,U.S.A.,USA,American,4,5,0,70,32,20,19,5,1,5 ,1 23,30,716,6,125 this will should give you 70% players with names from the US (modern) nameset, 20% from the Canadian name set, and 5% each of African and Hispanic names. If you rather use the US (historical) nameset, then change the 0 before the 70 to a 39 One question...did you really want African names, or just African ethnicity in your pictures?
