Run as adminiistrator???

Just down loadeed and installed the game. When I went to my desktop and clicked on the icon, I received the following message "In order to finish initializing, this application must first br run by a user with administrative privligages" I'm using Vista. I right clicked the Icon and selected run as administator then went back and clicked the icon again and I received the same message. Can anybody help?

Are you on a work computer? OOTP requires an administrator finish the installation (so do most games).

Are you the main user of the computer? Are you logged on as the administrator? You have to be when you install the game

You ran as administrator and it still would not work? Try rebooting and try again. Make sure your logged in as someone with admin access.

try right clicking - properties

shortcut

advanced

check the run as admin button
