BZ 3268: Different Ratings on Different Screens
I'm in the offseason after my first solo season in the initial release of OOTPX. I'm using 20-80 player ratings with scouts and coaches off.
I am noticing that some pitchers have different ratings showing on the FA screen compared to the player profile screen. So far I am only noticing it with pitchers that I have changed from MR to SP, but it may extend beyond that. |

I know there is a "boost", but what I am seeing is the case after I have made the change in position so even with (or without) the boost the ratings should be the same on each screen. Surely?
I have stars on so I haven't noticed any OVR/POT differences. The differences that I have seen are in the STU/MOV numerical ratings. Can't recall seeing any differences in CON or END. Last edited by aewin; 06-07-2009 at 11:33 PM. |

I tested this several times before responding again, and I can't duplicate any differences between the two. When I adjust the FA pitcher to SP or MR, his changes (boosts, etc...) are accurately reflected on the FA page and the profile.

I think this is something similar: the two screen shots from the profile and the scouting report for the same pitcher scouted by the same scout. In one he is a 2 star prospect while in the other he's a 4.5 star prospect. And the individual ratings for stuff, etc, are also different. He's listed as a starter in both screens.

I get this same error when scouting is on as well. I am in a fictional league with scouting turned on and set to Normal accuracy. A starting pitcher in a Rookie League shows Stuff/Movement/Control of 6/6/3 on the Profile page, but 6/1/3 on the Scouting Reports page. Most of my pitchers throughout the whole system appear to have this problem.
