OOTP Becomes Unresponsive If Error Occurs When Using Automator
(see picture) I started the automator, which encountered an error, unfortunately at this point I couldn't click OK and had to terminate the process.

I can get the automator to produce errors and still respond, but I can't get it to produce the error you're getting. Would it be possible to zip up your .dat files and FTP them to us as per the instructions in http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...-files-us.html and then we can see if we get the same error.

What happened was I extracted the files so there was a league_name.tar directory in the imports_exports folder. This seems to cause an issue when OOTP creates the archive (I assume it attempts to use that name) which then locks up the game.
I can FTP the files if you'd like. |

Hey Rustd,
Can you confirm that this works fine if the league_name.tar directory is not present when you run the automator? I'm trying to run a test here, but I don't access to my FTP server tonight, and the process is getting stopped before it gets to that point... Steve |
