Cannot Generate Fictional Players for Nippon League

I added the Nippon League (as well as the minor league)

When I hit generate fictional players and then run computer manager, all of the players are placed on DFA and never moved onto the active roster.

Also, after adding the league, the league itself is not grayed out on the add league screen

When did you add the league? Whenever I've added a standard league it's been automatically populated on creation or a draft is scheduled.

After I created the MLB league -- I added every league , Nippon was the only one this happened to

Afail, could you please give us a step-by-step rundown of what you did, from the creation of your saved game? I'm not quite following what you've said, and I've been unable to reproduce this issue.

Sure Steve

I missed beta testing this year

Started a game using the MLB quickstart

Went into Game Setup and hit add league and choose every non winter league

I noticed that after adding each league it would not let me add them again, but the Nippon league did not grey out.

When I checked the league, every player was DFA, and running computer manager didn't fix it

I think you skipped something in there. After you added the leagues, did you do something related to generating fictional players? You seemed to indicate that in the original post?

Actually i dont think so since the league itself does that for ya

i can send you my league files you would like -- pretty sure if you add the league in now, the same thing will occured

No, I just tried exactly what you did, and no one is on DFA, and I can't add the Nippon League again.

hmm, maybe it is related to my league being named .lg lol

will try it again next new game
