Strange subsitution error
I was playing a game, and in the 7th inning, I pinch hit for my pitcher with a bench hitter. When my team finished hitting and went into the field, I put a new pitcher in to replace the PH. What happened was the pitcher I put into the pitcher spot also went into the leadoff spot (and 1B in the field). Therefore the pitcher was duplicated twice: on the mound and 1B taking up two positions in the lineup!
I tried putting the original 1Bmen back into position, but it didn't work. Then I tried to put another bench player onto 1B, but that didn't work either. I went back into the game, threw one pitch and then put a new 1Bmen in. This has happened once before, which I thought was just a fluke. But now it's happened twice. I wish I new exactly what caused it. The only thing I think I may have done, is while clicking the new pitcher in the bullpen and pulled it to put it into the pitcher spot in the lineup, I moved the cursor below the game screen and onto the windows bottom bar. |

I have seen this problem reported before but nobody can replicate this at will which is a real problem in trying to get to the bottom of it. The consensus is that it is something to do with the mouse release over the lineup, but beyond that everyone is stumped.
