Export Draft List Data?

I haver gotten ready for a new lerague expansion draft by copying and pasting out of HTML reports over 260 screens of data and pasting it into excel to analyze via self made formulas the players.

I look at current ability, potential and defense. This measn 3 different reports per player, there are 82 screens worth opf players so it took a few hours to do.

Is there a better export function or way to do this for the next time I do about doing this?

If you're au fait with working with Excel you can go to Database Info and then export all the files. In the players.csv is a field called draft_eligible which would give you the range of IDs and then you could limit the other player*.csv files to get the details you want.

Well, first off, create a customized view that has all the data you want on it. Then you would need only one report.

Do you have the OOTP game preference option set to "scroll bars" rather than "page selectors"? If so, you should get a scrollable list that will all export to one report. (Caveat: there is some inner game limit that reverts to page selectors if the list is longer than a certain number - maybe 1000? - unfortunately you can't get below the limit with filters because it's the underlying list that causes the reversion to page selectors.)

Two solutions to test out!

thinking about the database file exports... if I can identify the palyed ID numbers I can then probably create easily a relationship table to link all this data and come up with a series of reports in Access...

It sounds like this issue has either been resolved or is no longer in need of support.

Since this isn't really a 'tech support' issue, feel free to post further questions about it in General Discussions!
