License is no longer valid message

I bought the game and entered the serial number and the game wored fine for a while, but one day i opened the game and it prompted me by saying, "Your license is no longer valid. This is often caused by updating your system. Please re-enter your license serial number." I did that and nothing happened. what should I do?

Are you fully patched up to the latest version (10.2.16) - from the way you're describing it, it seems that you are on either a Mac or Linux?
