Error No Pitcher found

Im about 2 months into my ongoing season and I exited the game after playing the days game. Now when I load the season, I cannot finish the day due to an error message that says No Starting Pitcher found. Repeated clicks on the error results in a crash. Error signature
appname ootp10.exe
appver 2.0.0.0
modname ootp10.exe
modver2.0.0.0 Offset 0047b80

All of the days games are finished. I can watch my games replay and see the box scores of the ai games. Was working fine previously with the new patch but I think I was advancing to the new day before saving previously. Now happens every time I try to advance the game either by finish day or autoplay to next event...

I used to get this error when a team had zero pitchers. The standard Lahman could create this situation in the 1870's. There was no way out I could ever find.
BUT
You could try enabling ghost players and/or filling minors with fictional players.

I do have Ghost Players on. Whats odd is that there are no scheduled games left to play but I get the No starting pitcher error (im not sure what game it is referring to, the next day has no scheduled games either)

Very sorry for the delay in responding to your post. In order to address this, we'll need to know more about your league. The fastest way to do this would be for you to FTP us your league files using these instructions:

Otherwise, it would help if you could let us know what kind of league (fictional/historical (what year)), how many levels of minors you have.
