MS Visual C++ Runtime error
I get the following error on my MLB based fictional league game in season 3 (I can't progress past the day my game was most recently saved).
The title is "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library" and the text says "This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information." I just tried setting up a new league with the same structure and fictional players and I couldn't even create the game with this same error occuring. I have loaded up an old real MLB game and ran through a few games with no problems so I have no idea where the problem could be. I'm running Win XP on an HP Compaq 6710b laptop. |

This problem isn't appearing consistently except for trying to get past the latest point in my save game. In total the error has occured at three different points so far.
1) When trying to progress a day in my saved game 2) Creating a new fictional game (during the "save players" phase) 3) When trying to load my saved game from point 1 |

I get the same error on an intermittent basis
Running windows Vista. I am able to get past the error point by replaying from my last save; I have noticed that it will happened a few times when transitioning from the end of the season into the playoffs, but as happened randomly during the season as well.

I'm running Win XP and I am also getting it. For me, it happens when I try and load a saved online league, after finishing with another league I have up? I have to close the error box and it then deletes the game and I have to start it up again? Frustrating!

Hi folks,
Very sorry for the delay in responding, it's tough to keep up at this time of year! ![]() Unfortunately, I arrive on the scene with no particularly great ideas. It seems like some sort of conflict is occurring, but the compete randomness makes it very difficult to figure out what's going on. Is there any chance one (or more) of you could enable trace mode and run the game, and then send us your ootp.log if you manage to crash the game? Thanks very much! Steve
