Amateur Draft Pool / Feeder Issue

Version: 2.0.0.16
PC/MAC: PC
What were you doing? I modified the Amateur Draft Settings.
What happened? Game will no longer generate players for the Amateur Draft.
Reproducible? Yes
Problem occurs with other leagues? Yes

I was initially going to use feeder leagues within my league and created one College and one High School league. I later determined that I no longer wanted feeder leagues and would prefer the game to generate players for my draft. I deleted both feeder leagues, but my preferences under 'Game Setup > Rules > Amateur Draft Rules' only gives me the option for using feeder league players even though I've deleted my feeder leagues.

How can I fix this without deleting my league and completely restarting?

There's no option for Feeder League AND computer generated? Or are you saying there you can't change the selection, i.e. it's greyed out?

No computer generated option after I've deleted the feeder leagues. I've provided a screenshot of the issue for further clarity.

Okay, you may want to save a copy of your league before you try this, but I'd select the Feeder + Additional (which is the generated) and see what happens. It 'should', realizing you don't have any feeders, then generate an adequate number of the additional players. Let me know. Good luck.

Second thought. You may try disabling the Amateur Draft option first, close the game, then reopen it and reselect the Enable Ammy. See if your options in the pull down change. You may try that without even leaving the game and see if it changes the options.

I've tried both of these options and neither work. Option one creates zero players for the draft pool, and option two does not change the option to allow for computer generated players.

I guess, now, I'm leaning toward the idea that you aren't going to be able to make that change, although it seems as if you should be allowed that opportunity. If I get a chance this evening or tomorrow, I'll run a test league or two and see if I can recreate the situation and find a workaround. I'll let you know. Feel free to try out your own tests meanwhile, if you're inclined. We'll see if we can find an answer. Maybe it's one that's more obvious than I imagine.

Your problem appears to be that you deleted your feeder leagues after your Amateur Draft Pool Reveal Date. 75 days before your amateur draft, the game saw that you already had enough players in your draft pool, so it didn't create more. When you went and deleted those leagues, you then ended up with no players in your draft pool.

If you pushed back your amateur draft pool reveal date to some time in the future, it would then recognize that the feeder leagues had contributed no players and would generate the necessary replacements.

I think this problem has more to do with the setting during season one than anything else.
