Names disappear in Broadcast mode.

Just bought this version of the game yesterday. I've had the last few versions of OOTP and am simply thrilled with this one... however...

I like to play out some of my games in my fictional league and right off the bat I am experiencing a rather major problem. When I go to the broadcast mode, all of the players from the human controlled team are placed on the field but without their names appearing. Am I explaining this correctly?

Also, when the ball is hit and the (pointless) little ball icon goes bouncing about... the color bars disappear and are replaced with names instead. I'd kinda like to have the colored bars and the names on the field!

I am running a G4 Dual 867 with 768 of Ram. I don't mind stripping settings down to fix this, I'm not a graphics guy. I just want to be able to see the names of the players on the field.

EDIT: I assumed that my late purchase would come fully patched and updated. Just checked and indeed it is so that's not the issue.

Sorry if this has been brought up before... my search turned nothing up.

Just to save you guys time.

I just tried disabling both the sound and the ball animation but still the same problem. I'm running out of things to strip down!

Sounds like your skin got built funny. Try changing to a different skin and see if that works better. This is done from the Game Preferences screen.

Another possibility is that the team text color is the same as the background color, so it doesn't show up. Does this happen with the team you are playing against too?

Oh boy... I think I just figured it out in which case I am a severe moron. I thought it would be cool to have my primary team color the same as my team text color for my logo. It just dawned on me that this may be causing a problem displaying stuff.

I will check this.

Yeah... I am an idiot. Problem solved. Don't have your team color and text color be the same. Wow.

Believe it or not, I actually spent two hours on this last night. Problem was, those two hours came between 3am and 5am. Nothing like a good night's sleep I guess.
