Batters' salaries at or near minimum
Yesterday I imported an OOTP9 league to OOTP X. After I imported the roster file (the league had just had its inaugural draft) and asked the AI to make fictional player contracts, only pitchers had salaries that were in the "Below Average Quality Player Salary" range and up. All of the position players, even the experienced four and five star players, had salaries that were at or near minimum—even after all of my tinkering with the league's cash minimum and each team's cash and budget.

This was using 10.2.16. I even considered creating a new league from scratch with the same players—but doing so would have forced me to edit all of the players' names individually (the rosters that are exported/imported won't allow you to edit names).

Do you see the same behavior in a new league with similar settings if you ask the AI to set fictional contracts after league creation?
Also, have you tried simming forward a few days, weeks, or maybe months and then converting? Maybe that will change the contract evaluation. |
