Spring Training Problem
In the past when spring training starts and I as manager have checked all the boxes so that I make all the changes. I have a 25 man roster, 40 man expanded roster and a 50 man secondary roster. I now have 45/40 player roster for the beginning of spring training/ Problem is that I have the game set so that I make all promotions/demotions. This takes away all the decisions I want to make. It should be up to me to make any and all roster changes

The game automatically now promotes everybody on your secondary roster at the beginning of spring training. This is new to OOTP X. My understanding is that it closes a loophole having to do with players on the secondary rosters not being exposed to waivers properly. The thinking also is that this behavior is realistic as pretty much everyone on the 40-man roster gets an invite to real spring training even if they only stay a couple weeks.
You didn't do anything wrong, looks like you have everything set up right. You will still have to make any necessary demotions. You have an interesting issue in that your secondary roster is bigger than your expanded roster, so every team will have to right itself before ST starts. Hope this explanation helps.
