You certainly don't deserve them.

A game that can't be played with virus protection on and has more bugs then a port-a-potty (just look at your forum).

Your patches don't even solve the problems they are designed to fix.

You guys have a potentially great sim here....but you should not have released it as is (even with latest patch it is virtually unplayable).

I will try again....maybe after patch 34.

The game can be played with virus protection on. The issue is how the AV is set up. The game creates a multitude of text files and a virus checker will inevitably check all these files if they change (which they do regularly).

Most virus checkers allow you to exclude particular directories for auto-scanning and that is what is recommended (as opposed to turning AV completely off)

I'd recommenced to never get on a development project then. There's project managers out there that would kill for having such few bugs as this one does (such as those virus scanner makers that were previously mentioned).

seems playable here. Perhaps it's a system problem? (and yes I gather that it's a feature not working that is making it "virtually unplayable", but when you dont' identify what they are...)

Considering that it had no swearing, pornography or spam, probably for a bit. How useful it'll be to address your concerns when it has no details, lots of hyperbole and facts are a wee bit wonky.....well we'll see what happens.

EDIT: Virus scanners are made of suck. As Mr. M stated, they usually dont' like programs that make lots of files like OOTP. For my experience, if you have Norton or Macafee, I'd recommenced looking for alternatives (I've heard good things about Avgst myself)

Leave it enable all the time.

I use AVG and have had no issues with OOTP.....

except every midnight, I have to switch of it's scheduled scan, because I am still playing and the scan slows things down....

I also use an antivirus protection and I never get these problems. I am using Avira. I've never had a problem because of my virus protector.

I have no problem always having Avast on, but I did find things to be better, whether it was my imagination or not, by excluding the OOTP directories. I exclude 3 OOTP directories:

-where I keep my backups
-the OOTP directory under the Program Files directory
-the OOTP directory under my Users directory

Total Sports World is finalizing its review as we speak, waiting for a version with patches involved before we rendered a fair and objective judgement.

I don't need to repeat anything anyone else said. I know the game works just fine for me, and your energy would be better spent in Tech Support elaborating on your problem, rather than looking like a posting troll (probably an alt-username?).

My online league continues to support usage of OOTP because the product remains proactive, flexible, with a dedicated owner and community.

Last I checked, Markus is human, and Microsoft has never issued a flawless operating system.
