pitching roation crash

i have been experiencing a problem when attempting to use the pitching rotation feature. while simming a game half inning by half inning the game slowed considerably then stopped altogether. when i again attempted to play game i received a message that ootp experienced problem and will close when i attempted to edit pitching roation. this happen several times with both the pre loaded 2009 season and again with historical league. this also happened when i attempted to edit the batting order. i use windows xp. any help will be greatly appreciated

Does the pitching rotation screen crash if you look at it before simming out a game or is this only occurring after you simmed a game out?

before i start to sim a game. after i start a new game and make trades and assignments.
