Joe Unknown Located in Player Database

Version: 10.2.16
PC/MAC: PC and Mac
What were you doing? I was trying to review players in my universe.
What happened? An invasion of players of German descent named 'Joe Unknown' was discovered.
Reproducible? Within my own file.
Problem occurs with other leagues? Not entirely sure, but possibly if they did whatever I did to case this issue.

I have approximately 400 pages of 'Joe Unknown' players in my player database. None of them play for any team in my universe and I cannot delete them. Also, none of them have any weight, height, ratings, or any other information other than them being German. I'm not entirely sure how they got there.

All other aspects of my league work fine.

Well, actually, they're Afghan, but I've had that problem in online leagues too.

How did you start your league? From the 2009 roster set, or a fictional league?

I would like to bump this issue, I'm having a similar problem in my online league. They came out of nowhere. I started with OOTP 9 and the initial roster set I believe.

I got a joe unknown, charles unknown, and edward unknown. I think it is just using unknown as a last name but I could be wrong. I got them from random created free agents. Mine have ratings .

my OOTP 2010- started year 2009 - fictional

Yea I believe that's completely different. I have around 750 pages of Joe Unknowns with 0 ratings and no position.

same problem in my OOTPX historical league.

My main file is fine, but when my league members update their files via the in game update, some of the rookies have "unknown" as a last name for them in their version of the file.

if this is an online league you MUST click the names.dat on when creating/uploading the League File
