Error loading teams file

After nearing the end of my third season I received this message today during loading:

"DATABASE::load_database - could not load teams file"

And after clicking OK, I get this message:

"The loading of the database failed. It is either corrupt or a save-game from an old version."

The save-game was started in OOTPX (not imported from 9), and I'm running the game on an Intel iMac, OSX 10.4.11.

I noticed another post mentioning a similar problem with the names and world files, but they weren't resolved.

I'm experiencing the same problem with the 'managers file', running Windows XP Any advice?
